Forged Check Suspected in City Release Notice
City police received word from the Minnesota state reformatory in St. Cloud that Walter Ho AL Jen alias Ro PL Noton d would be released soon and a forged check may have been cashed in Waterloo last April. The superintendent says Allen reported the forgery on a Continental and Continental National Bank of Chicago check. No local record confirms the incident. A prisoner photograph was enclosed with the notice.
