Midwest dairies' lead all world asserted by Iowa expert

Professor J H Shepherd of Iowa State College told the Iowa Cow Testers association banquet that midwestern dairying surpasses all others worldwide. He contrasted dense eastern and island systems with the temperate Midwest, noting Jersey and Guernsey limits on stock and restrictive island laws. T. M. Refle won first in the cow testers contest, with Sivisend second and Arthur Porter third, among other high scorers. Five Iowa State Teachers College dancers performed during the event.
