Purity in Home Emphasized by Dr Westenberg at Local Church
Rev. Dr. Robert C. Westenberg preached at the First Presbyterian Church with morning and evening services. The sermon on The Enemies of the Home urged parental responsibility in child training and argued that modern youth share traits with ancient times, using a Babylonian letter as illustration. The evening talk That Boy of Yours used 66 stereopticon photos showing a boy’s life from infancy to ruin by drinking, ending in self-inflicted death.
