Elks Carnival Opens With Cheerful Night of Games
Joy filled the Elks club as more than 600 attendees enjoyed wheels of fortune, booths, and jazz by Clyde Grant and his kings of jazz. Activities featured a Country Store, Bingo, and a Yiddish meat market with paper scrip. Valuable prizes include a Springer health device, a waterless cooker, and $50 in merchandise bonds. A Tasmanian-opossum fur venture was announced.
