Des Moines Welcomes War Exile Weissinger Family Return
Adelaide Rehmann Weisinger, stranded in Stuttgart during the war, will visit Des Moines for a year with relatives. Her husband Reinhold Weissinger serves in Germany, and their 11-year-old son Reinhardt will join her. She aided wounded soldiers, fed families, and helped with Red Cross efforts amid wartime hardship.
