Majestic Theatre to See New Sole Owner and Acts in Waterloo
Jolly Jones will become sole owner of the Majestic lease in Waterloo, replacing J. Jolly Jones as manager of the Crystal Theater company. The Majestic lineup includes Carlotta with the Loop the Loop act, Elea nor Otis & Co., Genevieve Lchrader, Al Abbott, Prevost and Brown, and the Pumpkin Colored Trio. The theatre seats 1,400, with two reels of film and five vaudeville acts nightly plus matinees.

Larceny Hearing For Four Men Is Continued In Cedar Falls
Four young men arrested for taking property of Cedar Falls students have their preliminary larceny hearing postponed to next Monday at 9 AM. Allen Crawford posted a $300 appearance bond and was released. the other three remain in county jail. Mayor Merner presides as committing magistrate.

College youths accused of stealing from gym dressing rooms

Death at County Home Claims Wm Strawhecker
Wm Strawhecker, 60, inmate of the county home for four years, died yesterday noon. His Shellsburg brother was notified and expected today to arrange burial. Former Reinbeck resident, his wife and daughter are buried there. he later lived in Voorhies before moving to the county home. Nearsighted and mostly unable to work. Body at O Keefe and Towne morgue.
