Town Girls Defeat Nebraska Farmers Communist Scheme
Lincoln Nebraska report on William T Croft a 62 year old Socialist who tried a communal farm system on 1200 acres in Gray county Nebraska. The plan funded by a family common fund paid college costs for five sons while land and livestock were jointly owned. Wives of married sons opposed the system preferring private ownership leading to the breakup and sale of the property with Croft remaining committed to socialism and hopeful lessons about generational education.
