Thanksgiving's Hilarious Origin by Will Allen

A humorous view on the origin of Thanksgiving argues Bradford did not invent the feast in 1621, noting earlier feasts across cultures and Bible history. The piece recounts the Mayflower voyage, Plymouth hardships, harvest abundance, and how a three day celebration grew into a yearly tradition with inviting outsiders and communal feasting. It also offers playful table decor ideas using poinsettias, ferns, and a Japanese vine, ending with a call to share meals with those in need.
