Chicago and Cook County voters backed a fusion ticket for 12 Superior Court judges and 2 Circuit Court judges, defeating Socialist and independent opposition by a large margin. Washington November 7 importation avenues for distilled liquors for beverage use except from the Virgin Islands were closed under Attorney General Gregory's interpretation of the food control and war tax laws.
