Black Hawk County Loses Under New Automobile Tax Law
The $1,036.26 automobile license revenue will fund Black Hawk county roads under a new state distribution rule. The board of supervisors will decide the distribution basis next week, as the law ties shares to township counts, harming counties with many cars and shifting income statewide.
