Rumors Of Suits Fail To Stir State Capitol
Des Moines May 29 Reports from Ottumwa say residents plan to seek an injunction to stop state purchase of property for capitol grounds expansion but no unrest exists at the state house. The Iowa Supreme Court previously ruled that time warrants issued for a designated payment from a specific source do not add to constitutional indebtedness. The constitutional limit is 250000 dollars.
