Chicago May 25 reports show Union stock yards receipts at 86 000 hogs 26 000 cattle 50 000 sheep and 24 000 additional sheep. Hog market opened 10 cents lower with mixed at 8 15 to 8 28 and heavy at 7 95 to 8 74. Cattle market opened steady closed steady shade lower with beeves 7 40 to 9 30. stockers 6 40 to 8 55. western steers 7 20 to 8 20. cows and heifers 3 75 to 8 75. calves 7 50 to 10 50. Sheep market opened steady then 10 to 20 cents lower, natives 5 15 to 6 05, western 5 20 to 6 06, yearlings 6 10 to 7 00, native lambs 6 10 to 8 05, western lambs 6 40 to 8 20.
