Anti Tuberculosis Test Men Plan Town Demonstration
The Anti TB group led by H G Pey ers announces a public display as a test herd is posted showing bovine tuberculosis. Vets from Waverly and Cedar Falls tested a Jesup farm while state officials say no statement yet on the six year fight but promise future details. An injunction blocks most herds from compulsory testing as 400 farmers seek to challenge the tuberculin method’s claimed 93 percent accuracy. Further retests are planned next month for reactors or suspected reactors.
