Majestic Theatre bill impresses with strong ensemble
At the Majestic yesterday a six man cast presented The Pool Room amid tales of temptation and crime. Fred C. Hagan received special praise for his dope fiend role while Hager, Sullivan and the Demo Troupe provided strong entertainment and comedy. Casita Day and the Kaufmans opened with songs and acts.

Umpire Jack Corbett died at his Shelly Nebraska home after a long illness. The Burlington Hawkeye notes he was slated to work this season but illness prevented him from umpiring. News reached Keokuk via President Justice by phone last evening.
