Black Hawk county supervisors received a call to revive a nationwide post road bill offering 200 million dollars to build post roads in farming districts from S M Johnson and T J Keefe. The plan would use half of federal aid to create rural routes, with town shares around 8.96 million. Board members want study time before approving, worried about primary highway paving. Greer Analyzes Three Troubles In Performance

Erwin Greer of Greer College offers fixes for common car problems. He explains that a small wheel and tire uncover out of balance effects above 25 mph. He cites out-of-balance wheel, eccentric wheel, or out-of-balance tire as causes and recommends wheel alignment. He notes steering pull from twisted axles, bent knuckle, or frame shift, plus air pressure changes. He advises front axle alignment to cure pulling. He also links uneven rear brakes to eccentric drums and suggests truing drums to restore brake balance.
