Waterloo Chautauqua Dates Set for July 29 to Aug 3
Waterloo Chautauqua will be in session July 29 to Aug 3 in a tent at Jefferson and Third, site of last year’s venture. Conference of directors with C. A. Halil of Bloomington, IL, and J. R. lower Independent Chautauqua Company finalized the lineup and space needs. Planned attractions include Sr. Park Cadman, Bishop Edward Holt Hughes, Charles Lewis, Edna Swanson Dehaar Concert company, Cappy Ricks players, Goforth orchestra, Million Dollar band, and Jessie R. Taylor. Officers are Dr. W. H. Beachier president, Rev. A. P. Blough vice president, C. W. Kirkpatrick secretary, A. W. Brown treasurer.
