Bishop Vincent Dead in Chicago
Bishop John H. Vincent of the Methodist Episcopal church died yesterday in Chicago. Born February 28, 1822 in Tuscaloosa Alabama, he founded the Chautauqua movement at Chautauqua Lake New York and served as a bishop from 1888 until retirement in 1904.
