Resignations in West District Schools Are Few
The 1927 28 school year set a record low for resignations in the West District with only seven instructors retiring, well below the usual 25. Prominent staff changes include Miss Narieen Davis moving to West High as music supervisor, succeeded by Miss Day. Several teachers new assignments announced and approved. A second item reports a landslide in Grottamare Italy burying the railway and numerous homes with casualties and injuries.
