Teeter Likely Appointed to Fill County Board Vacancy
The death of John McQuilkin creates a county board vacancy to be filled by appointment of the county auditor, recorder and clerk. Rumor favors Thurman Teeter as McQuilkin’s successor, though terms and election rules mean the appointee may not take office until 1922. Teeter previously served on the punts board and was seated by McQuilkin.
