High Tribute Is Seven To Jurist Chas W Mullan
The remains of Judge Charles W. Mullan of Waterloo will arrive in Waterloo this evening and be taken to O'Keefe Towne mortuary for funeral preparations. Distinguished attorneys from Black Hawk County and surrounding counties will attend, with rites likely on Sunday or Monday. Judge Mullan, admiringly called a true American and public servant, served as a longtime bar leader and judge after a notable career as county attorney and state senator. He was born December 31, 1845, in Wayne County and was among Waterloo’s oldest residents with a legacy in law, politics, fraternal societies, and hunting.
