Three War Heroes to Return to Iowa
Des Moines May 9 Iowa's three soldier heroes recently returned from the French trenches and recalled to Chicago Tuesday from their homes will be given furloughs after a brief stay at Fort Myer Va and will again visit this state. Representative Dowell telegraphed today that while in town the three soldiers will be under the direction of the national council of defense and thus their speaking dates will be made by the town defense council.
