New State Law Protects Cities in Milk Supply
Des Moines May 6 The dairy commission with the state board of health and the state surgeon's office has drafted a blanket ordinance guiding local milk handling. It requires milk sellers to obtain a license, bottles to be original, and cleanliness of barns and milking. It sets sterlization rules, disease checks for dairy workers, and inspection duties for local dairy inspectors with penalties up to 100 dollars or 60 days in jail for violators.

Wiring today of Rodea to dissolve the articles of incorporation of the One Hundred Sixty-eighth regimental band recalls the unit’s fine overseas record with the Rainbow division.
