Fortnightly Banquet Marks End Of 36th Year
The Fortnightly club held its annual banquet at the geld room of the hotel to close its thirty six years of study and discussion. W B Howell elected president, Walter Jensen vice president, Mrs W Breckenridge secretary, Miss Mase Foote treasurer, with new members welcomed and reports given. The program announced for the 1929 30 season includes lectures, recitals and discussions led by local figures and guests, with a schedule of events from September to April.
