Kidnapped Girl Driven On Hold Up Tour By Bandits
Dolores Bannon, 22, was abducted from an Evanston piano escort in a lake drive coupe near Chicago. The pair used a revolver taken from Officer Albert Carr, later forced her to drive through the Gold Coast and Oak Park robbing motorists, planning a delicatessen store hold up before returning the car four hours later. The incident unfolded near Mayor Thompson's area as Sherman, her escort, watched in disbelief.
