Gasoline supply bids filed by 45 stations set discounts. about 1,200,000 gallons expected. Cedar Falls Lumber & Supply to furnish 2,200 cattle signs for 1.65 and 1.35 each.

Leora Young Cited for Contempt Court
Mrs Leora Youngs a Black woman was cited to appear before Judge B By Stiles at 9 am April 4 to show cause why she should not be punished for contempt of court in violation of a liquor injunction issued in 1925. County Attorney J W Edwards filed the application after Judge J C Beem in municipal court had fined her 50 dollars and costs for operating a disorderly house. Edna Drain a Black woman was fined 10 dollars and costs as an inmate of a disorderly house. Art line La Porte City was fined 10 dollars and costs for intoxication.

Kip's Negro Bride Plans to File Separation Suit
New York March 30. Alice Rhinelander the part Negro wife of Leonard Rhinelander plans separation and permanent alimony suits. Papers charging cruelty and abandonment would be served within days. Mrs Rhinelander has received 300 dollars monthly as temporary alimony and 6500 dollars in counsel fees. Legal compelled payments ceased with the court decision.
