Merchants at Waterloo Banquet Hear Of Bank Relations
Waterloo Retail Merchants met at Hotel Russell Lamson for their annual banquet. Vincent J Rechtfertig outlined the Morris plan bank relation to merchants, with Paul Davis as toastmaster. Lectures urged cost awareness and price education, denouncing discount pricing and advocating odd cent pricing. Officers elected included Wartong as president and three vice presidents. A membership total of 291 was noted.
