Des Moines March 28 The Wall lake controversy before the state executive council ended with a three to one vote to condemn 11 acres on the east side of the lake for park use. The lake lies in Wright county and covers 300 acres, famed for duck hunting. Waterloo residents leased one mile of shore and planned hunter shacks for 300 dollars each, prompting protests of monopoly and a petition to condemn part of the lease. Funds offered to cover part of a right of way purchase will be applied to the 11 acres. any excess would come from the fish and game fund.
