Sweden Tapped by Young Cabinet in European Pattern
In Bockholm Sweden, under the present constitutional system, a notably young cabinet governs. Prime Minister Richard J. Sendler is 41, Foreign Minister Osten Undén 35, Defense Minister Albin Hansson 30, and Social Welfare Minister Gustaf Möller 40, with only Möller aged above 35. The article notes Sweden’s history of youthful rulers and compares current officials with contemporaries like Mussolini and Benes, while citing earlier monarchs Gustavus Adolphus and Charles XI as examples of younger leadership.
