Healing Mission Draws Hundreds in Council Bluffs

Hauptpert Family Finalizes 1800 Acre Iowa Estate

Perry Iowa March 24 The Haupert estate involving 1800 acres of land and other property was settled over the weekend at a two day family reunion at KE J and A W Hauperts home. A Fr Haupert handled the estates and received praise from relatives who presented him a diamond set lodge line.

Blind horse backs over embankment into lake rescue

Mrs Hansen aged six years old nearly drowned after a blind horse backed the buggy into Half Moon Lake. The brief report notes she spent hours submerged with the lugger on top before regaining consciousness, aided by a passerby rescue.

Webster City voters approve $75,000 gas plant bond

In Webster City Iowa a special election yesterday passed by 599 to 82 a proposition to bond the city for 75000 to purchase the gas plants for municipal operation. The city already owns its electric light and power plant and its water plant. The gas plant was owned by the Webster City Gas company controlled by M F Good.
