New Sacrifice Rules Hit Spring Baseball Games
Spring games display the new sacrifice rule as runners advance on fouls without time at bat. Injuries and illness force frequent lineup changes across teams including the Phillies, Yankees, Indians, Reds, Senators, Giants, and multiple camps in St. Petersburg and Sarasota. Players such as Dugan, Luazaret, Speaker, Donohue, Vance, Frisch, and others are noted in various recoveries and position shifts amid camp activities.
