The appeal heard by Miss Agnes Samuelson state superintendent is the culmination of legal proceedings before district boards and the Warren county superintendent involving claims the teacher told risque stories to pupils Kilmar asserted Crawford sought to place his own son Cleo Crawford in the district by pressuring the teacher The teacher was formally charged and appealed to county superintendent AW ML McGee who after an extensive hearing vindicated her The board refused reinstatement and appealed to the state superintendent W M Wilson Warren county attorney Frank Henderson and W R McGinnis contended the record shows a plot against the teacher and the stories cited as evidence the Jolly Pop grandpa and grandma and coal house tales The case was submitted to Miss Samuelson for oral argument and briefs and taken under advisement
