They will begin on the tract donated by Henry and Anne Pfeiffer of New York City and, without estimates, expect to finish by mid summer changing the landscape from east end of Eighth Street to Sixteenth Street. Engineer Loses an Ear North of Oelwein
Engineer Charles Knowles sustained a serious injury when a barbed wire strand blown across the Devorah division of the Rock Island struck him behind the ear as he leaned from the window.
