Waterloo Leads Iowa in February Permit Gains Amid Mixed Market
February building permits rose in Waterloo, Sioux City, and Dubuque, with Waterloo reporting a notable percent gain while several major cities posted losses. Total 448 centers issued permits valued at $272,524,498 versus $259,596,127 a year earlier, as weather and coal strike slowed activity in parts of the nation.
