Des Moines March 20 The 1922 Iowa tax roll totals 104 225 553 64, up 7 971 310 01 from 1921 as state auditor Glenn Haynes reports. Over 17 years taxes have steadily climbed, with 95 30 mills average rate, based on one fourth of assessed value. Distribution lists county and city taxes, school levies, and revenue earmarks across land, personal property, rail lines, and moneys and credits.
