Two Accused Of Stealing Auto To Be Arraigned
Harvey Anderson and Floyd Boyer, aged 24 and 23, of Mulberry and Mobile streets, will be arraigned in a local justice court on a state charge of automobile theft. They admit taking the car of Mrs. H. C. Russell for a joyride Sunday evening, the same vehicle found on High Street Monday morning covered in mud after a long drive from near the Palace theatre. Authorities link them to a garage break-in at Independence and a gasoline theft, with two young women present. The county attorney aims to curb joyriding with state charges. A 1915 Buick was stolen at Tripoli last night, with police informed this morning. The notice also promotes The Incomparable Jane at West High Wednesday night.
