Hendry Heads IRE Delegation with Expenses Paid
William A. Hendry president of the local Izaak Walton league chapter was elected to lead eight Waterloo delegates to the national convention in Chicago April 7 8. A $50 allowance was approved for his expenses as part of the vote. Alternate delegates were named including Bruce Gates Charles Wright R H Fenson Ho Bernbrook Jeffery Sullivan Jack Casebeer and others. The meeting drew Theodore Menzes in Hendry’s absence with progress reports on a 1000 member drive and a minimum $3 annual dues. 12 to 15 million table saws cited in a World survey.
