State Moves To Print Own Documents In Iowa
Des Moines March 9 The Iowa legislature opened a push to establish a state printing plant by moving equipment from the Amamosa reformatory to Des Moines and providing 40000 dollars for equipment. The measure, backed by printing committee chairs, follows the state board of control ceasing inmate training and leaving idle gear. Other bills include a code revision session plan, a soldier bonus measure authorizing a 23000000 bond issue, and debates over the temple of justice project and highway commission limits.
