Albert J. Edwards a Waterloo pioneer lawyer and former district court clerk died at his home on Lafayette street after a long life of public service and legal work. He was active in Black Hawk County history and church affairs, and practiced law with several partners after moving from Troy Wisconsin to Waterloo in 1857. Funeral services set for Monday at First Baptist Church with private graveside rites.
