Deyo and Harry Winn to five years at hard labor in the penitentiary at Fort Madison for stealing a load of hogs from stockyards and selling them to buyers at Chapin. Adrian Alarts also received a five year sentence suspended due to his age and first offense. Deyo has a wife and six children awaiting support.
