Alimony Emotions Stir Waterloo Meeting

Rev. Edwin Boardman denounces divorce harms and alimony issues linking rising divorce rates to social decline. He cites 1923 50 percent more divorces than 1824, projects 134 691 divorces plus annulments in 1926, and argues for stricter marriage licenses and limited alimony to curb the divorce problem.
