Teuton Socialists Blame War on French and British Brethren

Berlin June 28 Dr Ernest Quorek a Social Democratic member of the reichstag is quoted by the Overseas News agency as declaring that French and Inglish Socialists regularly kept away from the conferences recently held with the object of paving a way for peace. German and Austrian Socialists were ready from the beginning to get others to discuss the preliminaries. The German government never placed any obstacles in their way but the french and English Socialists remained deaf and dumb. They are the real culprits. They should be placed before a tribunal of the international Socialists. Manifesto condemned by German press. Newspapers discuss the peace manifesto condemning it as illogical and dangerous to a country fighting for its existence. The Vossische Zeitung and other papers dispute its logic and call for clear opposition to any concession. The Tages Zeitung says the manifesto should have been addressed to governments outside Germany.
