Ray Blackmer to take post grad course in prison
Ray Blackmer once known as Black Hawk county's ideal trial juror pled guilty in Charles City to operating a vehicle without the owner's consent and was sentenced by Judge M F Edwards to a year at Fort Madison prison. He chose the prison term over confinement and, after release, will face prosecution here on a bad check charge with possible federal Mann Act involvement.
