Russia May Make New Concessions Hinted By Krassin
Moscow June 21 The first admission that Soviet Russia may make further concessions to allied powers at the Hague conference was made today by Grigori Krassin people's commissar of trade and commerce. He warned concessions would be mutual and Russia expects little from the conference, hoping to show private capitalists how Russia can attract investment. He said Russia might concede more if allies reciprocate and that oil tracts would not be closed until Americans are offered bidding opportunities. The Hague conference setup was outlined with Dutch envoy Mysheer Patya to head the general commission, and Alphand elected president of the debts subcommittee as delegates gathered for negotiations with the Russians.
