Cemetery Body Formed at Raymond Cemetery
A cemetery association was formed at Raymond church in Raymond Indiana at a meeting last night. The five directory members are F Poyner Frank Loyd Mrs Bell Wise Mrs Hazel Dietrich and Earl Douglas. They will work with township trustees to elect a president and secretary. Mark Butterfield outlined the legal steps needed to form the organization.

About 300 parents teachers and social workers attended the opening of the University of Iowa state conference on child development and parent education in Towa City. Elma School Project Awarded With Cedar Falls Bid
The Cedar Falls Electrical and Hardware Co won the electrical work for the new Elma school at 963 dollars, J. G. Mayer Clarion received the general contract at 35000 dollars, and John Lauck Alta Vista secured plumbing and heating at 7047 dollars. The two story fireproof brick building with Bedford stone trim will replace the old structure, capacity 200, architect John S. Bartley Waterloo. Construction starts immediately.

Majestic Shoe Shop Sold to M Zervas in Waterloo
The Majestic Shoe and Cleaning shop at 186 Fourth Street West, once run by Peter Makres who died in a recent auto crash, is sold from his estate to Mike Zervas of the Waterloo pool hall at 320 Fourth Street West who assumes management today. Zervas, in Waterloo 20 years, previously ran a similar business before military service and later worked in several establishments after returning from the war. An injunction without bond was issued today by Judge G W Wood in the divorce case of Daisy Greenley against Jesse Greenley to restrain him from molesting the family at 76 Mulberry Street. Mrs Greenley seeks $10 a week alimony and custody of five children: Richard 12, Betty Jane 10, Wayne 7, Jack 5, and Maxine 3.
