Magdalena Spies born in Germany May 16 1838 came to America and settled in Waterloo after living near Urbach and on a farm from 1868 to 1900. She died at 4 pm yesterday at 431 Argyle street after heart trouble, survived by children Henry Huckbolt Fairbank Wil Siggelkow Waterloo Fred Eicher Waterloo Kate Ella Spies Judge William Spies DuPree S D George Spies Gresham and brother Peter Stallman Waterloo.
