Output of Motors for May 404 30 I Gain Over 1904
New York June 17 production of motorcars and motor trucks in the United States totaled 404 300 in May according to the estimate based on shipping reports to the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce. The total was 4 percent under April’s high month while output stands 33 percent above May 1924. Dealers report strong sales of both new and used vehicles with June expected to improve over 1924 in most regions though drought in the south and southwest may temper gains.
