Grand Master Elements Speech on Immigration
In a speech the speaker discusses immigration's growth and the difficulty it creates. The message contrasts immigrants from unfamiliar histories and governments with the make up of American society. It argues that such newcomers do not integrate easily and would burden existing citizens.
Emigration and social tensions in early American society
A reflective piece discusses tens of thousands arriving for work rather than liberty, noting immigrants’ languages and customs forming isolated city colonies. It warns these masses burden the nation, contrasts with founders, and urges Masonry leaders to educate and elevate newcomers while honoring past pioneers and ongoing benevolence within the fraternity.
