London May 24. No shipping will be available until autumn to carry British settlers to Canada South Africa or Rhodesia says the overseas settlement office. Autumn is not suitable for landing settlers in Canada and free passage for former soldiers under the new government proposal may not be provided until January 1929. Buenos Aires papers say 10 ships will run for the first time in 13 days to carry settlers from the United Kingdom to Australia or New Zealand beginning in 1929.
