Ten Couples Wed Daily as June Begins at Little Brown Church
An average of ten marriage licenses per day was issued by the Chickasaw County clerk for the first five days of June, signaling a new record for weddings at the Little Brown Church in the Vale Bradford. The historic shrine draws many out of county couples and brings Chickasaw to seventh in state marriages in 1927. County Clerk Albright and Deputy Miss Hose B.
