Defeated candidate Mrs. Brebner seeks a countywide recount after a 39 vote margin over Miss Jennie Bird, with the county board and supporters weighing legal steps under a recently amended recount law. The funeral of Mrs. W. S. Schultz, who died Sunday, was held at Jesup. Rev. T. Nielsen led the service with Rev. W. A. Stanley assisting. A quartet sang Abide With Me and Asleep With Jesus. Surviving relatives include her daughter Ella Smith and Ava, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
